| La villa monatana, old fashion place, lack of refurbishment, lux place of the year 90, but not up to date of years 2005, should make some refurbishment. N. Bru, El Paso, United States

| We absolutely loved Mexico - the country, the places we visited and the people were all wonderful. Villa Montana had a lot to live up to but it was also very pleasant, with great views and a lovely suite. My partner enjoyed being able to build an open fire in the room - unfortunately we had no time to try the spa facilities but it all looked very nice. J. King, United Kingdom

| We all felt very lucky to have kind of happened upon the Villa Montana when researching a place to stay in Morelia and then being able to book rooms during the busy Day of the Dead week. Just a great place. We would stay there again in a flash. Only slight criticism: the restaurant could not have been nicer and the staff more friendly and professional, but the food we had at dinner there one night was really disappointing. I think the owners really need to review the menu and the chef. By the way, the concierge, Santiago, is a real treasure. He was extremely helpful and a wonderful representative for the hotel.
