Taxis are available at the airport and the fare to the hotel is around US$80. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

From the coastal highway #307, take the turning for Playa del Carmen (not Playacar) which will bring you into town on Av. Juarez. Take a left turn before Avenida 5 (which is open only to pedestrians) and then a right turn at Calle 8 and continue to the end of the road by the beach.

Please note that the only access to the hotel is via the beach. From the end of Calle 8 and facing the ocean, turn right on the beach past the hotel Alhambra to find the hotel Playa Maya. If you have luggage, we suggest that you send one of your party to call a bellboy over to help.

If you are arriving by taxi or private transfer, please tell the driver that the only access is via the beach, Entrada únicamente sobre la playa, casa esquina con la calle 8.
