This beautifully restored 18th century Hacienda offers sublime wedding ceremonies set outdoors in the lush tropical gardens or indoors, in the pretty chapel. Since the Hacienda is famous for its excellent restaurant, wedding guests can be assured of an exquisite feast that will befit the spectacular surroundings. The guests can also take advantage of the extensive sightseeing opportunities in the area and also opt to continue their vacation on the Caribbean coast. chapel

With their guests happy, the bride and groom can relax and enjoy the romantic and opulent surroundings. All weddings are tailored to the couple's exact specifications and are expertly orchestrated by the experienced staff. A full range of services are available, from photography to fireworks.

On their wedding night, couples often select the romantic Private Maya Interlude performed by Doņa Carolina, the Maya therapist trained by her shaman grandfather, who mixes her own oils and creams from natural ingredients. Placing lit candles and incense around the suite, she first massages the couple with honey to moisten the skin and places flower petals on each, “flor de mayo”, rose, or frangipani depending on the season. After a soothing deep massage, she ends by singing an ancient Maya chant asking the gods to give the newlyweds happiness and a long life. After offering each a cup of Xtabentun, the local honey-based liquor, she fills the tub with warm scented water and flowers, and departs.
