| Hated the Condesa DF. Got no sleep for 2 nights - the bar/disco til 2am then their garbage, then pick up, then traffic. A man had his briefcase switched while I was there, lost his computer and cameras...the very next day, they left luggage by the same door..."stuff happens" was their only response. Also unmanned elevator between disco and rooftop bar...no key needed for hotel room floors, 2 staircases equally unmanned...horribly unsafe...horribly noisy...horribly horrible...absolutely hated it - stuff happens! | Condesa was WONDERFUL. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and unpretentious. The rooms were luxurious but modest--very comfortable bedding, great products, imaginative and useful neighborhood map and info packet, broad per-room ipod selection. Great movies to borrow at the desk. Delicious house red wine and menu from room service and delicious breakfast, with rarities like homemade granola and croissants! Light, quiet sitting areas It's in an interesting and classy residential neighborhood--very local - good for walking, lots of restaurants nearby, quiet, very eclectic shop - also high design by local artisans.
