Ceiba del Mar is luxury and indulgence at its best. It is more reasonably priced than some of its illustrious neighbors but guests will enjoy the same levels of service and pampering.

The hotel is located right on the beach, just a short walk away from the fishing town of Puerto Morelos. This area is still pretty much undeveloped; you'll find a few restaurants in town and a shop or two but no high-rise hotels and no clubs or discos. This definitely isn't the place to go if you are looking for nightlife.

Guests at Ceiba del Mar can enjoy a wide range of facilities and activities; enough to keep the most energetic person happy for a week or two. You'll find plenty of water activities including, snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving. There are mountain bikes, tennis courts and golf and horseback riding can be arranged. For those looking for a more relaxing stay, the resort has an excellent spa with beauty salon, steam and sauna area and fitness room.

The wonderful oceanfront swimming pool is very enticing; here you will find comfortable sunbeds, shade and staff that are on hand to cater for your every whim.

In the evenings you can choose to eat at the innovative Xtabay Restaurant or right by the ocean at the Arrecife Grill - you won't be disappointed whichever you choose. We would also recommend checking out some of the restaurants in town.

Rooms at Ceiba del Mar are very well equipped with satellite TV and DVD Players. There is a DVD library, if you fancy a quiet night in. The rooms also feature Ipod docking stations and Ipods are available through the concierge for guests to use during their stay
