This wide sandy beach continues for miles along a blissfully peaceful stretch of the Riviera Maya. There can sometimes be some seaweed in the shallow water which makes the ocean a little less clear than in other locations, but you can also swim directly from the jetty or of course from the enticing swimming pool.

From here you can stroll into the sleepy fishing village of Puerto Morelos, and drink in the atmosphere of a place happily unaffected by tourist developments.

Alternatively, of course, you could just stretch out on one of the hotel's comfortable sun loungers, relax, and soak up the sun!
