Let me start that my dealings with you and Different World have been uniformly excellent. I encountered no difficulties in receiving information when needed and everything went flawlessly from the moment we stepped off the plane. I enthusiastically recommend Different World to friends as a source for Mexico travel plans. You really made it easy for me to get my trip in order and have no worries on the hotel end. Thank you again for that.

The LCQC representative greeted us promptly at the airport and we were very quickly whisked to the hotel. While waiting for our suite to become ready my wife and I walked around the hotel grounds. She did not know where we were going (a honeymoon risk she took)- not even the country or city. There was construction work being done at the hotel entrance so I think she was a bit concerned at first since you can't see much anyway from the road. As we walked around the grounds, we were both very pleased, but when we were taken to our suite "Mi Fantasia Loca" (the Owner's suite) it was all over. This suite was very private (as requested) being on the top floor. In our further walking around over the next few days, we have no doubt it is the finest location at the hotel.

We enjoyed everything so much. Ironically, I didn't want a honeymoon location so isolated that there was nothing to do but lay on the beach and as it turns out we only left the hotel a few times to go into town. We ate all but one meal at the hotel. The food was fantastic! Lime pancakes became a breakfast staple.

We took advantage of room service meals a couple of times and always found the service quick, efficient and friendly. One server, Rogelio, was always a bundle of enthusiasm and good spirits - you couldn't help but be in a better mood (as if a poor mood was possible to begin with). All service personnel were very friendly and efficient.

The beach access is fine in our opinion. My wife is a beach girl but she did not miss being right on the beach for one minute. We enjoyed the privacy of our suite so much that it seemed like being around anyone on the beach was an intrusion. The private pool is a real spoiler (as in: can't do without now). We got in the hotel pool on the last day just to say we did.

We each had a massage while there, in our suite and again it was awesome to have that available and come to you. Of course we enjoyed our massages greatly.

We took advantage of the cooking class (got some recipes!) and the horse back ride on the beach (beautiful and we were the only ones on the beach).

In short we found everything was "as advertised". I can think of no better place for a honeymoon or even an anytime getaway. We would definitely go back if the opportunity presented itself. It was worth every penny.

Some notes for the hotel: - Never change the TV status of the place. Never put them in the rooms. Never have more than the one community TV. Keep them banished! Perfect!!! - The books in the room are a nice touch. We took advantage of having the reading available. - If you can keep things at the level they were for our visit then LCQC will continue to be a very special place.

I will be certain to mention your company. Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful, very relaxing vacation at the La Casa que Canta. We have already recommended the hotel to many of our friends that also enjoy traveling to Mexico. The pools, the staff and the service are all fantastic. Everything was first class and the little touches were very nice (for example - our suite had an issue of "Atlanta" magazine in its library...this may have been a coincidence but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt).

The only critique (but not an outright complaint) is regarding the restaurant at the hotel. It's a good restaurant but not great and certainly not up to the same standards as the rest of the hotel. There are a number of other local restaurants that are much better (Kau-Kan and Villa de la Salvas are two) at roughly the same price point.

On a related note, we were offered the option to upgrade during the last night of our stay to one of the suites at the private residence. We were a little hesitant at first thinking there must be a "sales pitch" for a time-share - but learned that it was just their way of offering us a special opportunity since the suite was available. We're so glad we accepted the offer....the residence is an experience not to be missed. We essentially had our own private pool with a private chef and butler. It was a great way to finish a great vacation.
