| My friend and I enjoyed the hotel and after looking around Merida decided it was the best choice. We both had the same comments on two things that could be improved: The maids bang on the door from 7:30 to 8:00 am - no need to do this; especially on the day one is checking out. Don't they know the check out dates of each room? Also they did not restock either room on the second day with the coffee etc that had been used the day before. The rooms were beautifully done with flowers the first morning, however. The breakfast in the courtyard was really bad. The service was terrible, the rolls stale and so on. J. Tower, Cozumel, Mexico

| It was nice, and the staff very friendly, but way too noisy for us. The way it looks on the website it sounds like a charming hacienda, like something in New Orleans, and what we found was on a busy street corner, with cars honking, very loud, all night, and we were in a tower about the old house. Not very charming.

| We had a very lovely time in Merida and your hotel was an intyegral part of our happiness. First, the location is superb, so close to the zocolo - one block away. We had a junior suite, and that was ample for us. The hotel is charming - we especially liked the courtyard - we never sat in it, but it was lovely to see as we walked by. Your staff is wondeful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We especially remember Jorge and the other man on the front desk - then David, the bellman - then the accountant at the front desk - and then the young man who cleaned our room - they were all very friendly and very helpful. You have every reason to be very proud of your hotel, and the time will come when we return again. We have recomended your hotel to two of our friends, and they may stay with you in the near future. We hope that you do pass on our comments to your staff - we would like them to know that we had that level of satisfaction, apart from the propinas that we gave to them. One suggestion - the coffee pot is in the bathroom - where you usually find it - but it is crowded there and it would be easier to use if it were in the main room, at some convenient location. Also, a few more TV chanels in English would be appreciated. Many thanks again B. Johnson, Calgary, Alberta
